UrbanPioneers Stadtpioniere is founded as a landscape architecture office in Edinburgh, Scotland involved in landscape, design, play, research and art. Its aim is to create urban common and private spaces, which are inclusive, meet the needs of the community, inspire and enhance the quality of their living and working places to sooth and re-centre our sense of well-being. The involvement of the local community as well as key players is crucial to reach this aim.
Day 30: Blowing goodbye kisses UP is supporting a healthy lifestyle, sustainable communities and quality, local food for everyone. We have decided to reinvest some of our profit to buy chickens and orchards trees for Cyrenians farm, helping young people improve their self-confidence, self-esteem, motivation and ability to manage their own lives. If you would like to support Marion on this project that would be more than appreciated. Saturday 12 November 3pm @ the junction Princess Street / Lothian Road in Edinburgh. A pdf of the Public Art Plan is also available for download. A radical transformation of the area around the War Memorial from an unusable and cluttered traffic island to a contemporary town square, giving the centre of Kinghorn a new, longed for identity.
